We tasked Rebels in the Kitchen with hosting our company’s holiday party extravaganza. Not only did they deliver a fun and engaging experience, they over delivered our expectations for a virtual class. Fun, great food, and lots to learn! Thank you

We had a fantastic experience with Rebels in the Kitchen. Communication was great before, during and after the class. We learned how to prepare delicious chicken shawarma with roasted potatoes and garlic sauce, as well as basic knife skills and a few tips and tricks along the way. Chef Rawan balanced clear instructions with the importance of using one’s intuition and nose in cooking, rather than strictly following a recipe. Highlighting what to look for in terms of fragrance, look, and texture tended to instill this sense of intuition while cooking. I very much appreciated the class, and I highly recommended it!

An awesome virtual cooking experience with a very knowledgeable, experienced, funny, relatable, interesting, professional chef. Our friends (and we) loved the experience. The food we prepared under her direction / supervision was delish. Learned tips and tricks and some fun facts during the lesson. Rawan and her husband Don (tech guy) have set up a virtual cooking class that is exactly what we need during these times. What a delight Rawan is. Also want to make mention of their beautiful dog (sorry I forgot you name pup). Thank you for giving us a night of fun and yummy food.

We were lucky to have Don and Rawan organize the Arabian Nights cooking party at our place. It was one of the best food experiences we have had so far in Ottawa and it was at our place. They provided everything, food and gear. On top of that, they scheduled a live music show. It turned our regular dining parties into something very unique and memorable. Best of luck to you two and hope this review will prompt people to give your fantastic cooking concept a go!

Wow! What a great evening we had learning to make some amazing food in our own kitchen with Chef Roe! We had a really fun group of about 10 friends of all different cooking abilities for a cooking class experience. Rawan led us through a few “chef hacks” that made all the difference. We prepared most of what we ate and everything was amazing! 

We hosted this in our own kitchen for my wife’s birthday party and it was a great way to entertain so many people without all the preparation and pressure. Rawan took care of everything from ingredients, prep and cleanup with our help of course and everyone had a great time. Everyone also got a recipe collection to take home which was a really nice added touch and months later we still make one of the dishes we learned almost weekly.

Thank-you Chef for the great experience, we are looking forward to doing it again!
